When you arrive at Elemental Massage Therapy you will be greeted with the soothing smell of aromatherapy and a calming atmosphere. It is important to arrive on time for your appointment. It is a good idea to arrive a little early in order to complete any necessary paperwork and to relax a bit. Please feel free to enjoy the seating area on the balcony while you wait.
We do not bill medical insurance. However, we do bill for auto accident and L&I claims.
To streamline your visit, please print out form packets to complete at home.
On your first visit, you will be asked to complete our Intake Form, if you have not already filled it out online prior to your appointment. If you are being seen because of an auto accident or L&I claim, we will need additional information from you, including your claim number.
You will be be appropriately covered during your massage with a sheet and warm blanket, with only areas that are being worked on exposed, but feel free to undress to your comfort level. Your job during the massage is to breathe deeply and fully, to completely relax into the table, and to just let yourself go. If talking helps you relax, feel free. Your massage is completely adaptable to you. Let us know if the pressure is ever too light or deep, or if you are ever uncomfortable in any way.
All massages given are therapeutic, professional, legitimate, non-sexual, non-sensual, safe and confidential. Any type of sexual advances, remarks, or inappropriate touch will end the service immediately.
Take care of yourself after your massage. Always drink extra water afterwards to help flush out toxins released from your muscle tissue during the massage. Avoid alcohol and other stimulants (over the counter or prescribed drugs, tea, coffee) for at least 12 hours after the treatment. Continue to drink a good amount of water, get plenty of rest & exercise, stretch daily, and ice or heat muscles as needed. Regular massage sessions will aid your body in quicker recovery from pains and sickness, and keep your body limber and pain free.
We do not bill health insurance. Should you want to use your benefits, we can provide you with an itemized receipt at checkout, which you can then submit yourself to your insurance for reimbursement.
We require a credit card on file to hold your appointment time. Your card will not be charged until the time of your appointment.
Our cancellation policy is 24 hours-notice. Should you late cancel or no-show, you will be charged the full cash amount of the missed session.
